I believe in living in the present, soaking up all the moments in life with the special people around you and a photograph has the magic of capturing an exact memory and retelling the story for years to come. It has the power to make you feel and relive that moment in time, it takes you back. Like, how beautiful is that? My favourite thing a photograph does is it connects people and leads to many stories being shared.
Since I was little I would flip open the many photo albums my parents had from birthdays, friends gatherings, family functions, weddings… and every single photo had a story that would lead into many more. One single image can lead to laughter, tears, inspiration.. I believe a photo is among the most valuable tangible item you can own.

The stories, capturing a moment to feel forever, and the art of a truly deep connection; I live for the conversations photos bring. For me, it will always lead to something untold or new perspectives on how we naturally love and interact with our partner or surroundings. A picture can represent a moment in time, forever freezing the flood of emotions and memories that will be triggered once looked at again; you relive that experience over and over. I mean, if that isn't pure magic… I don't know what is. Connecting to another human, nature, a home, or an experience is why we live. The art of connection is complex and every story is unique which is why I love to tell them through my lens.

When I am travelling I feel like I am living fully present, soaking up new experiences, new environments and my inspiration hits on a new level. I always feel like I have gained a new perspective after travelling.

My entire approach to photography and documenting stories is to create a space where you feel comfortable being vulnerable. Being vulnerable allows you to be yourself. As a way to make this happen you’ll find me collecting information from you prior to shooting, from finding out your favourite music to play throughout our time, if you are introverted or extroverted, how your love story began or anything else I can gather. The goal is always to create a space that makes you feel SO comfortable being yourself and celebrating the hell out of that.
I am ALL about those “in between moments”, the anticipation before you kiss, your hands reaching for each other, all these little in between will tell a really big story- your story.
I believe in stepping outside the box on your special day and making it your own. If that involves getting your feet and dress a little dirty, I am right there with ya! I like to think a dirty dress at the end of the day is a telling sign good times were had. My favourite vibe is “elegance with an edge”- on my wedding day I knew I wanted cathedral length wings as a veil and paired that with being barefoot during the ceremony to show both my love for fashion and my free spirited side. The sky's the limit when it comes to how you want to celebrate your love.
While I am shooting I envision your day unfolding like a music film, I am inspired by many things; movies, album covers, coffee table books, fashion, nature, but one of my biggest is music. I believe music is healing, it brings a certain energy that you feel and that is what I am trying to do - capture the effortless energy between the two of you.
Before you even book me we set up a phone chat to hear all about your vision, you get the chance to get to know me and ask more questions and see if we are the perfect fit! When it comes to your wedding, it's especially important that the person capturing it is someone you would want to be friends with. After booking, I am your girlllll! I will help with organizing your timeline, I provide a wedding guide full of tips and inspo to help with your planning and if you decide to book an engagement session (or if you are booking a couple session) I provide a fun style guide full of inspo, I chat about the importance of location, and I send a questionnaire to get to know you both better to help make you feel as comfortable as possible. I will help you lock in a timeline that is most ideal to help your day flowwww. I am also not just your vendor- I am here to bounce ideas off of, see allll the inspo pics, I LOVE seeing the dress and want to build a friendship.
